fair is the original Stafford event, running continuously for 30 years. It
has been featured on several television programmes, including BBC’s “The
Antiques Show”.
There is
always a vast choice of quality furniture, including an Arts and Crafts
specialist with an extensive range.
Among the
350 + stands are specialists in watercolours, clocks and watches, rugs and
carpets, lace and linen, Coalport, Worcester and Royal
Doulton, porcelain, books and prints, and Art Deco pottery. The stands are
in three interlinked halls, one of which has a pre-1939 dateline.
There are
also many specialist jewellery stands and scores of exhibitors offering a
wide range of general collectables.

Antiques Fair is staged 7 times a year at the Stafford County Showground Prestwood Complex. The event is entirely indoors, in heated, well-lit
halls, with easy loading/unloading access and ample free parking. Security
staff are on duty during unloading and overnight, and the fair is
monitored by 24-hour closed circuit television and video-recording.
Site
facilities include a café, shop and overnight caravan/motorhome sector
with toilets and shower block.

pening
times are 10 am to 5 pm daily.
There is
a special preview admission charge of £4 from 8.30 am FIRST DAY ONLY.
Admission during normal opening hours is £2.50. Accompanied children (under
14) are free.
Bone fide
traders with a business card are admitted free during normal hours but
must pay £4 for first-day preview admission.
